Thedarkprincesnun
Hey guys sorry for the really silly question but which shoulder pad do chapter symbols go on? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/321533-chapter-symbols/ Share on other sites
Grotsmasha
They go on the Marines left shoulder, except for mkVI (beaky helm), they have the studded pad on the left and the chapter symbol on the right. Brother Cambrius
What Grotsmasha said. But some Chapters do go against the norm, such as the Iron Knights, who wear it on a small shield on their left shoulder, and others put their emblem on both pads, like the Black Templars. I think I remember reading that according to the Codex written by Guilliman, Astartes Chapters are encouraged to change their markings to help confuse the enemy, so in theory you could make it your own way, whether it's on their helmet, greave, both shoulder pads etc. You can make it work.
