Yellow spray paint options

Hi all. I am looking at putting together an Imperial Fists armoured force for both 40k and Heresy, since the force is almost exclusively tanks, I think the painting process would be greatly sped up using a sprayed on base coat instead of the brushing I have exclusively used up till now.

 

I have already painted a handful of IF infantry, and have used Vallejo Gold Yellow as the primary colour for them, so my prime concern here is that I find a yellow spray that closely matches that colour, it might seem anal but it is the sort of thing that would infuriate me to the point of repainting.

 

What manufacturers are available and do any of them produce a yellow that closely matches Vallejo Gold Yellow?

 

I have also only ever primed with white or black, do coloured sprays need to be primed with another colour (probably white, in this case) or do they spray straight over the grey plastic/resin?

GW does not do a yellow spray...Army painter has yellow primer in a spray but I have no idea if they would match Vallejo yellow gold

I've seen those, the GW yellow looks more like a light brown, and the army painter one looks a bit brighter and sort of lime-yellow, but its hard to tell until you actually use them.

heya, not sure how close to your scheme it is... but check this video...

im doing some pre heresy fists from the calth box as the "Ultra force of the box" to go against Iron warriors from the "word bearer force of the box"

its a nice easy scheme, done one test model already...although im going to use GW's Zandri dust over my Fine tamiya white undercoat as the base.
