Black Shields maybe or I dont know :(

Hello guys, first of all you maybe will think that I am a crazy stupid dude ^^

 

But first of all the content.

 

In the past I just was playing Chaos Space Marines ( till I sold them ^^ )

So in the past everytime I was just the "bad guy " and it was ok I liked it :)

 

Yesterday I have gotten my order, a Dreadnought Drop Pod, an Raven Guard Contemptor with 2 CCW, a Heresy Rhino and a Unit of Tartaros Terminators.

 

But at the moment it simply feels "wrong" :( , because I dont know, raven guard are some of the loyalist loyals there on Terra.

 

So what to do, wiriting with my colleague we thought what would be the best for me, beeing bad but not mainstream.

 

And then we get a look at the Black Shields.

 

Guys what do you think, this traitors/Mercenaries/Pirates, could they be for me?

 

Because I like Dreadnought, especially the Contemptor and the Leviathan.

 

Additionally I have 2 BaC Boxes, would they fit in or not?

 

And the most part what would you play in the Black Shield stuff?

If you like the bad but also morally ambiguous nature of black shields then go for it!

 

The limitations aren't too huge and you can do pretty much anything you want :)

Blackshields can really have any sort of background you want them to have, so mercenary/pirate warband definetly works. The one downside will be is that you can't use that dreadnought drop pod, one of the few units blackshields don't have access to. Definitely still a fun army though, with some very different options from the normal astartes list.

That helps a Little.

The contemptor will be converted a little and I think I will be able to sell the DropPod.

 

So it should be work and I will feel better because after years, again I can play the bad guys :)
