Knights Errant and Transports...

So, a frater raised an interesting point just now.

These guys count as non compulsory HQs in any Loyalist Legion. Technically they aren't an allied or separate Detachment, thus meaning they can enter the Legion transports alongside the units they join.

I quite fancy Rubio accompanying a Primarch in a transport and functioning as a Tiggy Diet type buffer lol

Doesnt actually answer anything.

Lets take a concrete example: The Navigator. Agent of the Imperium just like the Kngihts Errant. Cannot ride in Sworn Brother Vehicles.

If we go a step further: You Army is Ultramarines.

Tylos Rubio does not have Legiones Astartes: Ultramarines much like the Navigator Doesnt. He therefore cannot ride in a transport despite being sworn brothers.

Its literally been this way since day 1 of 30k. Nothing has changed.

Considering the expansion we're in is geared more for narrative play I don't see any reason wrong with FWs answer. We aren't trying to attend a strict event or anything. Would anyone actually have a problem with it anyway? I can think of far more scary prospects like Primarchs inside land raiders.
