olsol
If a deep striking assault vehicle (storm eagle gunship) contains mortarion, can it deepstrike, unload mortarion in the movement phase, then he uses his 'ghost move thing' to go somewhere within 10" then assault. The rules say for deepstrike, that you cannot assault out of a deep striking vehicle. Mortarion's rules state: he may assault after his movement in the shooting phase... Thoughts? Kilofix
No. Can't Assault in the turn you come in from Reserve. There are no rules for Mortarion to override the above. It does say that he can Assault Normally after SotR but that doesn't in any way override not being able to Assault from Reserve. It's like Assault Vehicle allows you to Assault when Disembarking. But it still doesn't override not being able to Assault from Reserve.
