Redfinger
I don't know how many Robotexh fans there are on this forum but in the Southerncross series the Bioroid's road to battle on hover platforms called Skysleds; http://www.robotechresearch.com/rpg/mecha/sc/sled/skysled.html I have been thinking of building a bike army and I think this concept could be cool for marines? What do you guys think, to far out there, or with a little work could be made to look right? A. Grotsmasha
I like the concept, but am having trouble imagining a "Skysled" that matches (my) Imperial aesthetic viewpoint. That's not to say that you couldn't make something that fits.... Bjorn Firewalker
This will either "count as" an Imperial jetbike, or a one-man Land speeder. Both would be Fast Attack options, but a Land speeder can also serve as Heavy Support, due to its ability to mount heavy weapons, e.g., heavy bolters, heavy flamers, mult-meltas, assault cannons, missile launchers... What role do you intend this skysled to serve in? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/322327-robotech-conversion/#findComment-4392082 Share on other sites

Race Bannon
As a hugantic ginormous fan of Robotech, I would be disappointed if you did not do this. Here I thought the link was going to lead to the Cyclone bike. totgeboren
Hmmm... Discs of Tzeentch for Iron Warriors is what I was thinking when I saw those. :p Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/322327-robotech-conversion/#findComment-4392921 Share on other sites
Kriegsmacht
I could see it work with the ad mechanism kastellans(i think that's the right name). They immediately reminded me of bioroids. I'd love to see what you me up with if turned continue this idea. Redfinger
Ya I need to keep playing with the idea to see if I can make it work. Since my army is going to be a "crusader" style army, I may make a assault bike squad as a test. A.
