Safe buy for Custodes.

Well, at Warhammer Fest, the FW guys said that they fused the Sisters of Silence and Custodes lists into a "Talons of The Emperor" with the idea that they could expand this selection with more unique armies and stuff that were under the direct command of the Emperor/Malcador.

That said, the Custodes portion of this new "army" will be fieldable as a 100% pure thing with no outside elements from other Talons of the Emperor Units whereas the Sisters of Silence won't be able to because they have a much more specialized application.

So, as it stands right now, they aren't their own unique Army like the Solar Aux, Mechanicum, Knights or Cult they're a Fusion Army of Armed Forces that didnt fall under any of those categories and/or/are under the direct command of the Emperor/Malcador.

They might get some vehicles, they fought as a discrete force during parts of the GC, commanded by the Emperor, so they might be a fully independent force of their own at some point, though perhaps not as of the next Black Book. Spartans, jetbikes as Terminus said, and possibly Contemptors (already established in the art) are the most likely IMO, maybe FellGlaives.

The other big engagement we know about for the Custodes (besides fighting on the walls of Terra) is the war in the webway, which looks to have had a mix of Custodes and SoS, along with the Mechanicum. A 'Talons of the Emperor' list would make a lot of sense for that as well, even if we get more Custodes-specific stuff later on.

I like the idea of other unique weirdness under the Emperor's personal command! Maybe we'll get some remnant technobarbarian stuff, like that warlord with the exoskeleton and the genehanced bodyguards in Templar.
