Those new infantry heavy weapons

Recommended Posts

What do you think of those new underslung weapons? I'm not sure. I'm thinking of making some havocs, perhaps with missile launchers or autocannons but both of the original legion pieces kind of feel better for Iron Warriors, the underslung missile launchers don't feel right but I love their backpacks and the autocannons remind me of the imperial guard autocannons and they ain't chain fed.

Really depends on where you're coming from.  I like the under-slung Missile Launchers for a few reasons: I have an excess of normal bolter arms that I wanted to use up.  They are still the same design concept to fit in with your existing ML's and Scorpius.  They really do look the part for your Web Suspension Veterans.  They are better options for proxying Destroyer Rad Launchers - especially if you use JP's and won't conflict with the looks of your over the shoulder HSS.  They look great for that DG Reaping army that walks up the field rather than standing at a fixed point.

I'm split, some of them are just marvellous, Missile Launcher being one, whereas others seem a little redundant, specifically the Volkite Culverin, where I also much prefer the Legion variant over the Telerac, same goes for the Autocannon and Heavy Bolter.
