Well if Canis is getting an upgrade iin the story... I hope this gives GW an excuse to finally re-do Canis in plastic properly for the tabletop.

Hopefully in Warzone Fenris 2 he gets a new model and the Iron Hands teach him to take an invulnerable save.

If I remember right, that's nor really Azrael, it's the changeling disguised as Azrael. At the time, I assumed he was talking about the return of some demon, but I just had the most terrible thought.... what if he's talking about Russ? If Russ came back to save the day, that would be great, but the changeling is excited about "his" return, so now I'm terrified that some BL author will think he's being cool by making Russ comes back as a demon prince or some equally terrible defiling of the fluff. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he's talking about Magnus, or even a demon version of the Lion.

It was the Changling, I read it as the return of someone very powerful from a Chaos standpoint. I think it's Magnus as the whole series of incursions was in the pattern of the word 'Vengeance' in the Prospero language. The Changling is a Tzeench daemon so again points to an overall Tzeench plot, however the force is a mixed power force so must be lead by someone of sufficient standing to be backed by all Gods. Only a Daemon Primarch of Abbadon would receive such backing.

 

Finally Sad Panda hinted the return of what the Wulfen hunted with Warzone Fenris 2, what did they hunt? Magnus and the Thousand Sons.

If that was the case, I would suspect a 'FNP' to be a more suitable addition. Falls in line with both Iron Hands and Wulfen stats.

Fluffwise Ragnare Blackmane allready knows that the Dark Angels hunt their own. He found this out when he was still with the Wolfblades.

I doubt GW considers those books rockhard canon.

I think the Iron Hand is more likely to say, "Growling will not intimidate a battle tank or its crew. A power fist will- a chainfist is ideal, but one must wear Terminator armor to use the weapon effectively. If an enemy tank approaches, you are to charge forth and punch the damn thing until the Omnissiah's blessing- a power fist's disruptor field- shatters its armor."

Think I'll reward myself with a subscription for all stories, when I'm done with my work next week. So I can read something in between ETL painting.
