I'm new to 40K although I've been trying to soak up the lore for about a year now. I've done some painting and have learned a good amount about what I enjoy and what I don't, but want to take the next step and go outside my safe zone. That means upping my painting game/trying conversions and one of the things that helps with that is community and feedback! The community here has wowed me with the involvement and positive ways people encourage and challenge each other to improve. This is what I'm most excited to engage in and look forward to seeing what people here continue to come up with! Oh and uh...Chaos man. Gonna go with Chaos to start! The ETL is one of the big thing I was looking at! I've a few things I'm getting started on, so I'll be making my vows very soon! @GreyRavenC & @WarriorFish: Yep! I actually have a small batch of both Chaos Marines and the regular Emperor approved sort which are mainly rescues from the used bin at my local game store. They're what I cut my teeth on painting with and helped me hone in on what I enjoy painting. Have some Warhammer Fantasy as well. Big Skaven fan, love those nasty little buggers. I'm going to be putting together a WIP thread this weekend where I'll toss some pics of my old stuff as well. Really looking forward to interacting more with everyone here!
