OutlawSixActual Posted June 6, 2016 Share Posted June 6, 2016 So this thread will be nothing more than a holding place for me to try out new concepts as I (very slowly) ease back into the hobby. i cannot emphasize enough how slow I am. I want to start with Imperial Guard infantry. I know that most IG is modeled as a vast horde of faceless conscripts and poorly-equipped massed forces, but as a former infantrymen, I can't be satisfied with that - I want my dudes to look properly tooled for a fight (in my eyes). With the Cadians, it seems pretty simple. I just took a stock Cadian rifleman, added some Space Marine bolt pistol pouches, and slapped on a backpack. Then I filed down the front of his helmet, and it looks good to me so far! I didn't bother with mould lines or anything yet - I'm more concerned with making sure that he has the right vibe. I didn't go crazy (yet) with night vision or weapon attachments, as I don't want to risk going overboard with the bits. But what do you think so far?
