nismogrendel Posted June 13, 2016 Share Posted June 13, 2016 I'm watching a video going over the Space Marine FAQ. There was an item in that FAQ for Blessings of the Omnissiah. The FAQ says that this can go off on a 1+ if the unit has four servitors. The Enginseer unit with four servitors costs 80pts. 120pts if you give the servitors multi-meltas. Pask and the multi-melta servitors have a 24 inch range, that goes well together. Park this unit behind Pask and keep them out of line of sight. Anyone ran anything like this? CyderPirate Posted June 14, 2016 Share Posted June 14, 2016 Well, kinda: 1-4 you can pretty much ignore with POTMS and 5-6 you can repair on a 1+ You've still got to worry about Explodes and being killed by weight of fire before your turn, but you're basically ignoring the results of the table. So I was fiddling with battle scribe... Company comand with astropath, master of ordinance, officer of the fleet. Cammo, medic, vox, 2xsnipers. Veteran squad, mortar, 3xsnipers, forward sentries. 3xministorum priests 3xenginseers with 5 servo-tors each, a Trojan support vehicle with heavy stubbed each. All comes to 748pts. Lots of tools and things. Each enginseer team can support different armour on different ends of the table. The vets and ccs hide, and if they can smack a few things with that artillery support and manipulate a few reserve rolls then good. This is the whole shebang imo, so trim to taste. Not for repair rolls because the harnesses/servitors add +1 to your roll.
