I currently have a 4000 point World eaters force. My aim is to get to a 10,000 point WE force because if your gonna do a legion force you gotta do it right! My inspartion for my WE force is drawn from Mr Pooms amazing world eaters army. and kizzdougs World eater marine he did for his legionary series his working on. These 2 guys id like to thank for giving me the inspiration to start World eaters. Anyways.... In this thread I hope to document all my other WE projects, such as my upcoming fellblade, land speeders, inductii squads and Titan support CC is welcome and I would love to hear your guys opinions on what world and what doesn't and what could be improved upon in future. Sue will in Due time, I have only built some of the sallies up but I am waiting to take a painting course airbrushing to get the results im looking for in my salamanders army. But you will definitely see some of My WIP sallies as this thread goes along Hell yeah buddy love the mix of pre and mid heresy schemes! thanks man, im going for a mix to show the progression of the world eaters throughout heresy I have some tactical coming up which will be in the red and white scheme and not the traditional blue and white. Where from is such a fitting part?? The helm is from the FW minotaurs Chapter master body. I then used butchers arms and chainaxes to create that model quite simple not to much work needed. Also today I worked on creating my Legion champion. For him I used the Age of Sigma slaughter priest. With some rampages bits thrown on to make him look 30k the model itself is huge!!! Thanks man yeah my WE are going for an intense battleworn look to represent all the fighting they have been doing and they dont care about how they look they aren't EC after all. I have somep plans for making the indūctii squads to go along with this army and once they are done this guy should fit in aesthetically alot more :)but nothing will be the size lf him. His a special snowflake. Unfortunately I have been pretty swamped this week and haven't gotten much done, painting wise. I've only managed to complete this Vindicator and undercoat the champion. Dominator Posted July 1, 2016 Author Share Posted July 1, 2016 Hey guys don't have any progress to post, but I did have a 2000 point game today with my world eaters against Iron hands. I ended up losing the game due to ferrus Mannus . I couldn't stop him. I almost tabled my opponent but I couldn't get the job done against ferrous. Anyways here was my 2000 point list roughly: HQ: Khârn with gorechild. Chaplain ELITES: 10x red butchers Troops: 20x assault marines with melts bombs. Fast attack: 1x Xiphon Heavy support: 1x Vindicator 1x Spartan. 1x whirlwind Scorpius Roughly 2000 points. Opponents iron hands: HQ: 1x ferrus Mannus. 1x iron father. Elites: 5x gorgons Troops 2x 10x tactical squads in rhinos Heavy support 2x sciaran battle tanks 1x Spartan tank Roughly 2000 points from memory. I'm not going through all the upgrades and point costs because I couldn't be bothered but it worked out to 2000 points Here are some photos from the game. (these pictures are just highlights from our match and they just show some of the exciting moments of the game) My turn 1: My army http://i.imgur.com/h3JRjS1.jpg Opponents Iron hands: http://i.imgur.com/AVVIAwl.jpg Turn 2: Assault marines got to the 1st sicaran. And then.............. http://i.imgur.com/qPozc7q.jpg There was no sicaran. http://i.imgur.com/aJooKLL.jpg Also I put Khârn out by himself to try and take out the Spartan (last game he did it woo assumed why not ) turns out 1st time I was very lucky khan fluffed his rolls and didn't hurt the Spartan at all. Instead he just got shot by the lascannons and died. http://i.imgur.com/7MwMycq.jpg Turn 3: the butchers charged ferrus and his bodyguard it was total carnage on both sides I whiped out the gorgons and took took out a couple of winds on the forgelord. Unfortunately I lost about 7 butchers in return and failed to wound ferrus at all. And I proceeded in the next couple of turns to fluff my rolls and lose the rest of the butchers. http://i.imgur.com/3W7ewuH.jpg I however had my contingency plan in place to deal with ferrus when he eventually won the combat http://i.imgur.com/QWaZUhH.jpg However it proceeded to fail to wound poor ferrus again!!!! Turn 4: Assault marines assaulted his tactical squad and easily took them out. And the xiphon poped a rhino which allowed the assault marines to get the tactical squad. (ignore the tanks they are destroyed at this point) http://i.imgur.com/AoOgUn5.jpg Turn 5 and summary: Without killing ferrus and my opponent killing Khârn he won based on victory points besides the fact I almost tabled him with my world eaters. However I was very impressed with my assault marines who managed to kill a sciaran a Spartan and a tactical squad did very well. Another stand out was Xiphon who destroyed the second sciaran and a rhino as well as in the final turn taking a pot shot at ferrus and took off 2wounds which is something the butchers couldn't manage to do. Otherwise it was a great quick game and lots of fun. Sorry for the dogey photos and crappy coverage of the battle report its just a summary of what happened. (does anyone know how to post the pictures to make them bigger like in my previous posts. Imgur changed its setting and now the images when imposts them are very small. And its hard to see all the detail on the models I paint. Anyways I thought I should at least I should post what I've been working on. Please forgive me as they aren't that world eater related but more gearing towards a salamanders project I'm starting. Anyways what do you guys think? Finished my Garro model: Salamanders test model: And just a Pre heresy Warhound veteran I'm working on for a Warhounds Veteran squad. Do you like the scheme?
