The larger rectangle the Fire Raptor is sitting in in the earlier pics is a landing pad, I have a box of the new GW storage containers and the promethium pipes set aside to finish of the hanger when I've completed the walls. I have a few ideas to create generators of some description as well though at this stage I'm really just trying to get the walls complete before I consider any additional pieces. Ada Posted July 28, 2016 Author Share Posted July 28, 2016 Well then, it's been a while since I updated this, I've been away on holiday and also painting up one of my imperial Knights. But that doesn't mean I've been neglecting this project! I have three wall sections left to complete, I may add another two but at this point I am unsure. The more open areas in the hanger have a set of the GW promethium pipes and also a set of the new storage crates to provide additional cover and fill out that area a little more. Looks awesome man, how much would you say it's costed you so far?The last time I costed it I was up around the £130 mark that's including primer and all the major components, my aim when I started this was to turn the project out for around £10 per tile. Obviously I breached that but I still think it's good value, theres a few bits which I've used out of my bits box which I haven't been able to cost. I hope to have all the walls finished by the end of the weekend, then it's onto a selection of doors. With these done I've built the plastics up, I think once painted these are going to finish the board of really well, I'll paint them up to provide a little colour. Now I've got all the parts built and/or painted I've had a play around with potential layouts, I think there's just about enough walls and plastics now to provide the right feel for zone mortalis.
