Fangbanger
Hi guys Not sure this is the right place for this but since aquiring a dreadclaw and kharybdis, I now have the issue if getting them too and from games.... Anyone know foam trays that fit them or have knocked up your own to carry such awkward models? LutherMax
Have you looked at the (fairly) new cases from GW? The foam walls aren't attached at the bottom so they're quite flexible for all sorts of shapes and sizes. Fangbanger
I've seen elsewhere that they aren't great for large vehicles (I have 2 Spartans too you see) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/323480-transport-issues/#findComment-4429705 Share on other sites
LutherMax
I can fit a Sicaran and two Razorbacks in one level of mine (I've got the medium size one) but the models you mention are big... You could try KR Multicase - or failing that maybe buy a music flight case and some packing foam? Fangbanger
Yeah I think I might have to look outside of miniature cases Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/323480-transport-issues/#findComment-4429749 Share on other sites
Guiltysparc
Check out KR MultiCase. I'm not sure if they have custom foam for the khrybdis, but i have their dreadnaught drop pod foam and it works well for that model. Fangbanger
They do not unfortunately Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/323480-transport-issues/#findComment-4430179 Share on other sites
LutherMax
They do custom 'pick and pluck' though, so you can make your own shape out of the foam. It's basically full of small oblong pieces and you tear them out to make whatever cavity shape you want.
