Jackalwolf
Would you consider legion specific items like the cataphractii primus to be part of the relics of the dark age of technology and therefore must be agreed upon by both players or it is something that you´d accept even without other relics in the game? Charlo
They are still opponents permission like the generic relics. Though personally I don't think they are on the same level as the Nanyte, Phase, Void shield etc. They are certainly rather differing in power though... Poor DA. Jackalwolf
Cheers man, thanks, I wish they made them part of the normal army lists. I do share your opinion that they´re quite more balanced and limited than the generic ones. RandomMarine
IMO they are don't require consent because they are listed in the same place as legion rules and rows unliked the nanite blaster etc. You dont ask to use your legion traits/row do you Obviously you need the rules to hand to answer questions and show rules Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/323882-cataphractii-primus/#findComment-4445132 Share on other sites
Jackalwolf
You do have a point too. Are they not listed specifically as relics of the dark age of technology then? Because the FAQ only claimed the 'relics of the dark age of technology' were restricted. So they still require consent I'm afraid. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/323882-cataphractii-primus/#findComment-4445177 Share on other sites
RandomMarine
Legion specific wargear is listed with the rest of the legion rules the only ones that aren't are the relics which are in book 4 which require consent if the cataphracti primus is in book 4 it requires consent but IF don't require consent for assault cannons or storm shields Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/323882-cataphractii-primus/#findComment-4445187 Share on other sites

Mango Polo
They should, if only because of the door that they open. I had someone pull relics on me without prior warning and it made for an absolutely :cussty match. Shame on him. That's one thing I'd always discuss with the opponent. Terminus
Relics would be fine, but every damn list has a void shield harness and usually phase walker too. Conquest campaign is their best, IMO, and getting those relics is really rewarding. SkimaskMohawk
Without a doubt they're consent and should be. Getting cheesed by the iron hands grav gauntlet on over watch or offhand fractal harrow combat resd isn't fun to experience Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/323882-cataphractii-primus/#findComment-4445604 Share on other sites
