The Repressor is back - soon!

We know. I said as much as far back as May:

Warhammer Fest topic (Sunday)

Sisters! Rejoice! For inside the 2016 FW catalogue the Repressor is BACK! Whilst ordering four Rhino door packs (now as a combined pack with the front panel for £13) I was told that the Repressor mold was completely broken and is having to be completely rebuilt. It WILL be back soon wub.png Also, the reason why the Immolator was taken out of production was because the injection mold that made the plastic canopy broke. Someone in the US had about a hundred for some reason so expect to see it come back for a LIMITED time.

Now is the time to show GW that Sistera are worth bothering about!

I know but as they added it to their newest catalogue (including also Mastodon, Stormbird and Landing Pad) we know now it's only a matter of a week/weeks tongue.png

Edit: blabla me blabla. Anyways, I'm glad to get it back (although more for Arbites than Sisters for 30k tongue.png)

The catalogue that I got at Warhammer Fest had the picture of the Repressor in it. That was what prompted me to post the above in the first place.

Here is the post I made back in May:

I also noticed that all the last chance to buy stuff we had is gone from the catalogue.  So stuff they won't sell anymore is 100% gone :)

Thinking about it, things are starting to make sense. Sisters get a mention in Shield of Baal. The Repressor is seen again in the FW catalgoue. Sisters models are seen missing from their (very small sad.png ) part of the Warhammer gallery. Hopefully, it leads up to something that will finally allow Sisters to have more options in games (such as proper formations etc).

Now, if only Seraphim Superiors and all of the other models that have dropped off return. I'm not going to hold my breath for plastics, I'm not Guybrush Threepwood... laugh.png

Am I going to have to buy (read: pirate. I'm not paying for all those rules I don't need or want) one of those massive Imperial Armor books to use the repressor, or what?

It's in "Imperial Armour Volume Two – Second Edition: War Machines of the Adeptus Astartes". However, discussion of pirating rules is not something we do here (and is in fact, against the rules of this forum).

That makes sense. I shall edit my post to reflect this.

Thanks for the help!

There was a pdf on FW website which was the 6th Edition update for the Repressor from Imperial Armour 2 First Edition, which you might be able to find floating around the internet.  The rules are superseded but they are slightly worse (not as many firepoints), so it might not be an issue for your opponents.

On a side note, how great would it be if Forgeworld put dataslates in their 'boxes' with the rules to use the model like Games Workshop are doing with their newer models?

Thanks. In any case I will use the latest rules.

My understanding of FW was that their models came with rules. Seems kind of a GW-move to make you buy the model and the book. I know that's how it is for "regular" GW stuff, but wasn't FW suppose to be a step-above in things (models, rules, costumer communications...) like this?
