THE DESCENT INTO MADNESS IS COMPLETE AND IRON IS ITS FORM!

So the eye of terror has lured me into clutches again. Not since WHFB some five years ago have I completely given my soul over to the dark gods.

The inspiration for this army came from a Daemon Prince I had laying in various stages of disrepair, this happened to be my last purchase for my warriors of chaos army. I always had a little affection for Nurgle and Iron warriors instantly attracted me, so I was all set to begin and then my 21st birthday happened and my lovely girlfriend spoiled me in games workshop with dark vengeance and a maurlerfiend. It was the perfect start to my Iron warriors

The first thing I built was the maurlerfiend as I viewed this as the embodiment of the Iron warriors philosophy. Very much PIP but value your opinions.

Progress on my maurlerfiend the Scorched brown layer (yes I know scorched brown) on the main torso is complete. Still to do is the layer on the shoulder pads before I even consider how I'm doing the gold. Still a long way to go but I am making progress. Comments and criticism welcome

So progress on the maurlerfiend has been slow as small distractions have got in the way mainly the uncharacteristically boiling British weather and the fact the the cultists from dark vengeance inspired me to finally start my renegade guard as a detachment to my Iron warriors. So when I got my back to mine from my girlfriend's house I attacked my old guard and warriors of chaos army's to kitbash some traitors these all need to be re painted. I also present to you my warlord and inspiration to do chaos my Daemon Prince.
