Cut apart the feet, knees, and hips (you will probably need a jewellery saw for the feet, and you may need to remove the ribbed knee/hip joints with a sharp knife too), and pin them back together with thin brass rod. When dry, you can re-pose them as you wish, and then fill in and re-sculpt the gaps with greenstuff/millput/putty of your choice.

 

It's a bit like any "true-scale", "art-scale" or big re-pose conversion really... I'm not sure what else you're looking for technique-wise that wouldn't be covered by those types of tutorials. :ermm:

I was thinking of using them to represent wounded marines:

 

Keep the legs as they are, assemble a sitting marine, add something on the base he is leaning his back against (wall section/pole/trunk..), model/paint a suitable injury, assemble arms as fits the pose.
