I'll go ahead and spoil the shocking ending if that book:

The SW get tired of being the butt of jokes about canines and they remove all wolf-related naming conventions from their armory and begin calling themselves Space Murdermakers and begin using Murderclaws, flying around in Stormmurder Gunships, and using Thundermurder cavalry.

So Madox is back. Sweet, any mention of his wargear? Im contemplating a Madox vs Ragnar diorama. Unsure on current timeline or Bloodclaw era Ragnar.

haven't read it but I heard he's ascended to daemonhood?

Daemon Prince Madox? Thats cool.

Guess Ill be doing Blood Claw Ragnar vs Madox then, not buying another bloody Daemon Prince, crap models.

He hasn't, we aren't even sure if that was the real Madox as Stern and the Inquisitor see him as a Herald of Tzeench and tell Ragnar the daemon is tricking him. In the most recent book The Changeling takes the form of Madox briefly too.

If Madox is still alive I'm sure he'll be involved if there's further attacks on Fenris by the Thousand Son's. I suspect it was just a nice nod to the earlier Ragnar series by Robbie as even Ragnar says he put a spear through his face, why would he have been awarded Daemonhood for getting his arse kicked by Ragnar everytime and failing so much.
