Emperor's Children ... Specialist Units ideas/conversions

Hey guys! I've often pondered the delights of specialist EC units, beyond the official stuff, Kizz's Breachers being a prime example.

 

I've long wanted to do the famous 'Sunkillers' heavy support and I've also been pondering a Vanguard veteran type squad. The recent change to the rules certainly makes the Assault squad seem more fun and viable. I've drawn on a few bits of artwork for inspiration, so what do you think??!

 

Any other ideas on units/formations?!

Here's my take on Sun-Killers, not sure yet, might make the torso MKIII. I'll certainly add pteruges on any torso that will take them. Might stud a shin or two.

Here is an Assault marine; like the idea of old skool jump packs. I think i'll use some Vanguard Legs and probably convert 'jumpy' legs with either lower leg swaps, adding borders or studs.

Sounds good. I know that Emperor's Children were into Bikes and Jetbikes as well (Fulgrim particularly liked the latter) but I don't know of any specific formations worth mentioning as they rarely seem to appear in the books.

Haha I thought the Khan liked to do 'strange things' to his bikes?

(While fulgrim genuinely did stranger things with his legionaries, as the famous rebuttal went between them)
