Burn the witc...oh, hello there !

Greetings everyone, I'm Isolia, also going by the alias Al ;)

I'm a canoness of a small order of Sisters of battle affiliated with the Order of the Argent Shroud, dedicated to crushing the heretics and witches that infest our galaxy , simple as it may sound ! Our tactic is that if you're not sure, it's probably a witch, and why isn't it on fire already ?!

We often have the help and expertise in human shiel...trench warfare of an imperial guard regiment that detaches a number of inadequately camouflaged valiant men to assist us . Their lowly psykers are tolerated mostly as witch-bait. And because Creed shows up sometimes, and he's hard to argue with.

A few freeblade knight brothers have also been helped by our sisters along our campaigns and they have pledged their vows with our order.

We are currently in a training phase and refurbishing our venerable exorcists and immolators before returning to light bonfires under sorcerers and other iconoclasts ...

And I'm also a 30ish scientist based in France :) I've been brought to the game about 12 years ago by a witc..eldar player , and I started off with a guard army that I promptly regretted and loved at the same time for the model count of Soviet proportions ! Then I acquired some sisters back when they existed in stores (alongside Sly Marbo...[sigh]) and loved them for their fluff which was as crazy as the guard one, but with blind followers ;) I also loved Disengagement (hit and run) and the wonderful conversion of a seraphim burning a killa kan from the witch hunters codex !

I've mostly been painting very slowly on and off for the past years, training on my guards before trying to ready the sisters.

Now I'm getting back into the playing part, with a steep learning curve (thank the long commute for rulebook literacy ) and enjoying that I basically have 4 weapon stats to learn, nice change from the grunt regiment ;)

Knights have been a recent addition because I love the models and the fact that they are a penitent engine on steroids (and EPO and adrenaline).

I've been reading the forum for quite a few months, sadly missed the ETL lacking time, now I've been vetted by the Inquisition to join you and I hope I'll be as much fun to read as you are :)

Hello, fellow Sister (or Ministorum Priest, I guess)! Come join us in the Adepta Sororitas forum, if you have not already!

http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/forum/178-adepta-sororitas/

I've only been playing Sisters for about a year now, and they are wonderful. They fit my tendency to call my opponent a Heretic much better than the Blood Angels. Don't worry, there are pleanty of others with more experience in the faction, if you need anything, and I shall be happy to help with anything if I can.

Welcome to the B&C! I'm certainly happy to see another Sisters player.

BURN THE HERETIC! IMPERATOR VULT! biggrin.png

A great introductory post - I'm glad that people are still buying into the Sisters aesthetics and fluff, personally I don't like the model range or it's price tag, but hopefully this will change.

May your promethium be ever ready to cleanse the mutant, the heretic and the xenos.

Well, I guess you're entitled to your opinion. dry.pngtongue.png
