DeStinyFiSh
Hey guys I will finish my third squad of Ruststalkers soon and now I am thinking about running the Killclade. I have got 5 taser Infiltrators, 10 Stalkers with claws and 5 with double swords. The problem is I dont know what it works best with. A shooty army? A cc oriented one? The bonus for the Infiltrators is amazing, but will but them even higher on the opponents priority list. The Ruststalkers bonus is a little strange. If you want to, you can get them into CC turn 2 most of the time anyway. The only benefit is you can stay further back (maybe in cover) before you charge and you can propably choose out of more targets. Has anyone ever played the cyber assassin formation? Father Mehman
With that many close combat troops, I would pair it with some good long range elements to provide covering fire. Mechanicus Tech-Support
Have not played the formation. Perhaps some Dragoons? they can get a charge of fairly early. I figure with this army you can either as Mehman suggest pair it with with some long range firepower, or fill it with units that want to get close and give your opponent too many cc options to deal with forcing them to either deal with 1 thing or split fire.
