Seekers and Interceptor

Having some problems getting my head round some interactions of the Seekers rules and the Augury Scanner.

 

Theoretical:

A squad of heroic Ultramarine Seekers is joined by Brother Deleriumtremens, an Apothecary with an Augury Scanner.

 

A squad of treacherous Word Bearer Terminators deep strike next to them; five end up within 18in of Deleriumtremens, five end up more than 18in away.

 

Practical:

Am I correct in the following?

1) Individual Ultramarines can opt to use any of their specialist rounds.

2) Only half of the Word Bearers are potential casualties, regardless of the range of the Ultramarines' bolt type.

3) It is possible that, owing to the different potential ranges of the bolts and their relative placement around the apothecary, not all of the Ultramarines can fire at the Word Bearers.

4) The Ultramarines that are not eligible to fire (due to range) can use their specialist rounds on the following turn.

5) Ultramarines that are eligible to fire, but opt not to, can use their specialist rounds on the following turn.

6) Ultramarines that do fire, can fire their bolt pistols in the following turn.

I really don't now, but for the sake of simplicity (unless the rules say otherwise) the whole Seekers sqd should fire at the whole Terminator sqd. I leave that here to the more experienced tactician brothers, but that's how I'll do it.

Nothing I can disagree with, considering the wording on Interceptor and Augury Scanner...
