AO's hobby madness: commisions: 8-10 Bloody traitors

Dude, those jetbike conversions look straight out of Star Wars. Particularly the last one. While not as cute as those other jetbikes you posted, still awesome.

Forget Choom. White Scars are the legion of NYYYOOOOMM.

Now for you, as you seem to REALLY enjoy the scars, here is more eye candy for you ;)

Beautiful.

Would share instructions how to build those jetbikes, please?

I will do in the future! Just gotta finish some other stuff first

Thanks Maxim!

here is some more for you! Deathwatch squad done:

And now because I have always LOVED apologists magical work, here is my (weak) first and very rough try at truescaling, painted marine for scale:

C&C always welcome!

What can I say, I like white & red. And holy crap that Basilisk(?) conversion is on point! Loving the rich red you pulled off, along with all the weathering.

The truescaled marine is looking a little top-heavy as of now. I think some greenstuff to fill in the terminator legs would go a long way. I've also always preferred the look of power armor arms and shoulders on truescale marines, something you may want to try. For some reason the terminator arms look a little too big for his body. He looks promising though!

Perhaps you have already done so, but I would check the rules for conducting a lottery in your jurisdiction.

Lots of countries have laws (of varying stupidity) as to what counts as a lottery and who is allowed to run them.

Winterdyne's latest comp., for example, would breach the Criminal Code and be an unlawful lottery if conducted where I live. Canada insists on there being a significant element of skill involved, games of chance are prohibited without a license.

Seeing as my studio is an official studio from a juridistiction viewpoint, the dutch government wouldnt honestly care for the fact that this is a very small buisness, with almost no profit, and barely any profit would be made from giving away a model/hobby piece. There are no rules concerning this, as most governments wouldn't ever see this as some kind of lotterly. yes it is a give away, but if people would get sued for giving away a hobby piece, then people wouldn't be allowed to give one of their friends a sandwich as well during a long day, wich is plain idiotic.

I do see where you are coming from with your concerns, and I apreciate you voicing them smile.png

But please next time, just PM me this kind of stuff (others if you read this please too!) as I dont want to clutter this tread too much with other kinda of talks besides the models :)

I want to say that your previously unnoticed chimera unknown pattern, is a very creative conversion. Nice and simple, gonna steal it at some point xD

And thanks! Steal away msn-wink.gif

Its an old leman russ model with some sort of water hose front xD

And thanks for the input on the true scale marine! I will probably fill in the legs and maybe bulk his legs in another way as well, but will keep the cables, but that's just personal taste msn-wink.gif

So hey people! Here is an update on the truescale, played alot around with the idea of him today in my mind, and finnaly came up with the neccesary changes:

Beefed up the upper legs and filled them in, cleaned up the model itself and then basecaoted it.

Now just to think of a scheme.. any ideas?

C&C welcome!

So I'm back! Never got around to posting in this tread the past... few eeks or so, but now I got something for you guys! I have been quietly been working away on a number of projects and one of them is... Traitor Blood Angels!

So first of, we have a deamon to support this:

He stands at 50% done atm, so much more work to do on him...

But that is not all (far from it!)

Here is a character dump for the blood angels army:

"In the darkness of light a lie would be told.

In the darkness of night a warrior would be bold.

In the light of the day his anger would seep away,

in the light of the day, the wise would say.

A lion is to sleep, or fight the day away"
