Lord Blackwood Posted August 8, 2016 Share Posted August 8, 2016 So Im looking at running an upgraded version of my Armored Breakthrough list for the next event , Ive sort of got an image in my head of the 775th and the Knights of House Blackwood responding to a particular threat , ive just got something of a concern if I want to take the Fellblade rom my collection , or if I want to take the Falchion. Thematically the superheavy tank is like Godfreys personal ride so its an important choice. Anyway heres what Ive come up with based on the things in my collection. Edit: Urgh, sorry, all I was seeing was Sicaran and was completely not seeing the HQ element. Edit 2: Actually don't you still need the initial HQ choice to unlock the RoW to gain access to the HQ Sicaran in the first please? Every Armoured Breakthrough I have seen contain either a Praetor or a Delegatus (less so because it doesnt allow you to take a Super Heavy) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Every Armoured Breakthrough I have seen contain either a Praetor or a Delegatus (less so because it doesnt allow you to take a Super Heavy) Master of Armor A single Sicaran Battle Tank or a Predator of any type available in the Legiones Astartes Age of Darkness Army list may be taken as a Company Command vehicle, counting as a HQ choice and for the purposes of selecting this Rite of War only , counts as having the master of the legion rule allowing this rite to be taken. The may also be the army's Warlord. If this is the case instead of rolling for a Warlord Trait, this vehicle has the super-heavy command tank vehicle upgrade ( regardless of its type) and has +1 BS at no additional Cost. Terminus Posted August 9, 2016 Share Posted August 9, 2016 I like both, although I think the focus is too much on killing single tough targets and not masses of dudes. I would drop the Elite Sicaran since I think they're only worth 210 points when BS5 like the Warlord. This buys you two more scoring predators. Instead of one of the laser destroyers, maybe a whirlwind for some blast templates? Also almost no anti-air, so I'd be tempted to dump the Venator Laser destroyer for a Fire Raptor or Deredeo. edit: just noticed those are regular vindicators. Looking at the list again your absolutely right , The lack of Anti Air is a gaping hole. I probably wont be able to get a fire raptor bought built and painted in a week but I can fill that gap with a deredo and drop the other Sicarian.
