chosen40k
Anyone have them? Are they good? I'm already an ebook enthusiast when it comes to rules and what not (got a huge shelf of old codexes but don't have the space to add more) so the ebook vs physical copy isn't a debate for me. Rather the question is how good are they as ebooks? Easy to read? Good format? Thanks! This is what I'm talking about: http://www.blacklibrary.com/all-products/age-of-darkness-collection.html Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/325228-questions-about-the-ebook-versions-of-the-red-books/ Share on other sites
Paradigm
The red books aren't bad as ebooks. I got my copy from ibooks, but got the regular ebook version. They are more or less ccs of the forgeworld books. Pretty much the same as if you had a pdf copy. This makes them great for reading, but the actual, physical book is a lot easier to build an army out of. That said, I use battlescribe anyway, so the books aren't used quite as much as they'd normally be for list building. Also, the price point and the lack of shipping, and waiting for the physical copy is incredibly convenient. I wouldn't be building a Heresy army otherwise. However, depending on your legion, you may want to forego the legions book. Dark Angels, Blood Angels, White Scars, Thousand Sons, and Space Wolves aren't in it, so it isn't required. Only HH book six has Blackshields and Shattered Legion forces, and some of the rules for DA, BA, and WS, so if any of those interest you, get that instead, or as well respectively.
