Custom Adepta Sororitas Dice

Recommended Posts

Looking at getting some custom dice done in preparation for an upcoming tournament.  Want to get the flour de lis symbol.  Has anyone had these done before and if so do you have any recommendations as to where to get both the dice and any image requirements/issues? Was just going to use Chessex.

Thanks!

I would go with the emperor protects or maybe Imperator Vult, even though neither is very unique. I just love those two

Though really if I was getting custom dice they would have the order of the glorious reprisal's emblem on them and say "Faith, Fire, and Death"

"Heresy !" For the side where 1 would be smile.png will be sure to put some spice in the bad rolls ! (Like a failed to-wound ).

Or "BLAM" for aficionados of this style

I wouldn't want the Heretic (opponent) to get the idea that the Sisters are committing heresy. Plus, then you would be wishing for double heresy for leadership tests!

Well, I stand corrected.

Isn't there a saying "you're so lucky it smells like heresy " ? There should be ...

You could have different dice say different things, like Faith, Fire, etc..

Then you'd roll Faith & Fire :)

If you use more words it can make the rare lucky (or unlucky) roll quite epic :

E.g. Holy Promethium Cleansing for a triple six on a wounding roll

That's a great idea! I think you would have to place separate orders for each design, which would get expensive, but it might be worth it.

Hum. I want some of those custom dice now too tongue.png I might go black with white pips/symbol.

I'd have purple and white ones happy.png and maybe some black and white ones smile.png

See, what I really want is Black with white pips and a gold 6th face, but I don't think they can do that.

The purple sounds cool (not in my colors, so not something I would go for)!

oooh. White with gold pips would look pretty snazzy I think . . .

You know, after seeing Mard's sample dice, I think the iconic fleur might be the best choice, if I ever actually do this. I'm contemplating more Seraphim models at the moment. I only have 10.

Purple and white are my Orders' colours (the black and white are the Valorous Hearts' colours, the "parent" Order of my DIY) smile.png

But yeah, I think they'd look cool. Having a third colour might not be possible (or if it is, it'll be expensive unless ordered in a high quantity).

Just for fun, I mocked up what my order's emblem looks like (in a monochromatic format - normally the skull would be gold) . 'Twas a pain. I would consider doing this on the black/white dice, and a fleur on the white/gold dice.

Order Of The Glorious Reprisal Emblem

Cheers all, yeah the Fleur is on the 6 for those all important rolls.
So far the people at Chessex have been pretty great to deal with and my stash of dice has just gone into production, it's a three week production process (could be shorter, but they just give you this time frame in case they are busy with a mass amount of orders).

I'll have photos again when they finally reach the shores of Australia

The design looks GREAT. Is it for the Order of the Glorious Reprisal?
