Ovidius Incertus
Thoughts? I always feel I err too much on the side of paint preservation and end up with my paint too watery. What's your metric for amount of water? FYI, my palette is just a homemade one out of a CD case sealed with some greenstuff, using paper towels as the base and parchment paper for the palette itself. JeffTibbetts
I never feel like I have much control over it. I use a kitchen sponge with some actual wet palette paper I have leftover from an old one. It seems like it goes straight from too-little to too-much water, but I like very thin paints so I'm basically okay with it. I know that's not terribly helpful, but I'm looking for tips on how to regulate it. Father Mehman
I have the same problem as well. I think Tabletop Minions (or Minion - not sure about plurality) did a pretty good video on this on Youtube. ++EDIT++ Here is the link to the video. Guiltysparc
I use a square tupperware tub, paper towels, and then a sheet of parchment paper over top of the paper towels and thats what i put my paint on. I've never needed less thinning than that provides and if i need more i just wet the brush on the paper towel part a little bit.
