Brother Clavero
Kind of a silly sounding title I know! I'm after pics of marines loaded with pouches, grenades, etc.. I know that most people only give their marines the basic equipment but I would like to load mine down to look more "heavy". I've seen a few like this on this site but cant find them! Brother Clavero
Thanks for the replies guys! I'm planning on revamping some of my Relictors. If you know their fluff, they are renegades, hunted by the Inquisition, etc.. My vision is that they are having to carry as much as they can without relying on resupply. Besides, a marine with only the magazine in his bolter looks funny to me Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/325406-looking-for-marine-pics-with-equipment/#findComment-4488129 Share on other sites

Brother-Chaplain Kage
I've always found that the pouches that come with the marine sprues are really difficult to use without a lot of cutting and filing to get them to sit correctly wherever you want them to go, and even with a lot of work they may never look exactly right. I know not everyone will have the sculpting skills necessary, but I prefer to create my own kit with greenstuff so that I can tailor exactly what I want them to have, and it looks a lot more natural. And honestly, sculpting pouches is relatively low on the difficulty scale for sculpting. For my VIII Legion scout, I couldn't find a knife or pistol that was small enough to look in scale with the rest of his gear, so I made them out of strip plastic. The pistol is mostly covered by a greenstuff holster, so the shape I need from the plastic is extremely basic. http://i.imgur.com/WRY35bk.png http://i.imgur.com/Jk5Wl8y.png Sometimes you can use sculpting and existing parts. I used two grenades from various places and made a third, as well as a knife (hard to see here on his right hip), and made bolter mags out of thick pieces of strip plastic. http://i.imgur.com/2Y5TVn5.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Bz5Jxrc.jpg On this medicae Vostroyan, some spare Cadian bits were used along with sculpting new bags. http://i.imgur.com/tew11rR.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/325406-looking-for-marine-pics-with-equipment/#findComment-4488487 Share on other sites
