Dreadnought variants

As a fan of dreadnoughts, I was wondering what variants the deathwatch have access to (outside of the standard + venerable)

 

Can the deathwatch take leviathans / contemptors?

I think that the Deathwatch being the new kids are stuck with just the ones they get in their codex as they weren't mentioned in books before now as an eligible army.

FW did post an image saying that a lot of the FW vehicles and Dreads will soon be available to Deathwatch.

 

My best guess is that the next Imperial Armour book seems like it going to have a LOT of Marine stuff in it in print for the first time, or updates to the older rules - so wil probably include deathwatch in the eligible list of armies for them.

Back when you had to 'counts as', I had plans for a twin heavy bolter Mortis dread because it looked cool and felt fluffy. If need be you can always ally in some of the cool stuff from IA 2, but, as Charlo said, FW have indicated they'll be making lots of their toys available.

I cant wait until we get rules for a Deathwatch Liviathan. I like the look of the MKVIII armour but I thought the old "Box Dread" needed some updating. So I came up with this guy.

I am building up mine as blackshields with magnetized arms so I can swap the left arm with the same only in silver. Super pumped

While there may not be rules for running a contemptor, there is an example of a Deathwatch Contemptor from the Argent Tigers chapter in The Emperor's Chosen.
