Sure love that model!

Here are some tacs I did using the DV marines. The combi-melta demi-squad was my first attempt at ultras!

@ Son of Carnelian- Thanks man! I love me some WD/'eavy metal paint jobs, so I'm addicted to edge highlights! I appreciate the comment!

@ Olis- Hah thanks! I'm going for good (maybe good +) table-top so I'm glad that works! As far as the squiggle-text... Its just not for me. Though, if I could pull off somethin akin-to the GW termi chaplain's loin cloth I might feel differently.

Thanks fellas!

Dosjetka- wow thanks man! The yellow master wants to know how I paint blue? I'm flattered! :) You're close! Macragge Blue (base)--> Altdorf Guard Blue (transition layer)--> Calgar Blue (edge)--> Fenrisian Grey (hotspots) Works a treat in my opinion! Give it a shot!

Thanks BSS! I sure appreciate the comments! Here's a few more for you guys! Hope ya like em!

I honestly don't think that I deserve such a reputation, what with so few painted models and a number of other people who paint at least as decently as I do, if not more.

And great, thanks for the recipe! I'll give it a spin later on this autumn when I paint up some models from Betrayal at Calth.

(Looks like you're right Brother Olis) Dosjetka goes and spins my thread all about himself without even commenting on my stuff... Geez. Won't make that mistake again. :P thanks @ race bannon! Used 2 las pred sponsons, 2 plas guns, and a goofed up LR hull-HB mount. Made it way more difficult than it had to be. Hope you like the paint recipe Dos! :)

@schultzhoffen n rojo- thanks a ton guys, I really appreciate the positive feedback! Ill keep shooting for clean and crisp... Or pushing myself toward cleaner and even crisper!

@tankus- shut up and paint kdk. :D

@blackmane- thanks man, I use a lot of brass etch and 3d doodle-ma-jigs- helps me to not paint like a shaky-handed doof!

@doghouse- ...the combi-melta sgt? ...are you sure? He's at the bottom of the heap in my opinion. I goofed his eyes and... Well... Blech. Glad ya like em. Both his combi and the plas-combi are homemade by the by. Neat!

Ill update tomorrow w a Tfire and a captain! (Sorry for the post w no pics, don't really think I done bad w a "bump" as its kinda quiet in the HoH) ...cheers!

Great work here, that is super above average tabletop and gives me a Warm fuzzy,i want to play a game of 40k feeling wub.png

it would be an honour to play across from this army! , i too am like you and only paint my purity seals up without script...lets just say whats on the wax seal is where the real script should be msn-wink.gif

i look forward to more super great quality from you!

cheers, Mithril

p.s. i really love the speeders, for some reason they are just the best aren't they biggrin.png

@doghouse- ...the combi-melta sgt? ...are you sure? He's at the bottom of the heap in my opinion. I goofed his eyes and... Well... Blech. Glad ya like em. Both his combi and the plas-combi are homemade by the by. Neat!

Never sell yourself short mate, I personally think that sergeant looks great. Very nice composition and I think he works well with the rest of the army that is coming along really nicely, the other one I like is the Beakie with the meltagun.

Look forward to seeing more.

@mithrilforge- thanks so much man... That's some really motivational praise right there! Very much appreciated! I love those speeders... But I'm not exactly itching to do another anytime soon! :D

@doghouse- thanks a lot man. I do like the sgt's composition, he looks like he's all business that's for sure. I just feel like I could do better (somewhat blaming those "soft DV sculpts" and somewhat blaming myself) ...I sure do appreciate you taking the time to comment though!

Here's a few more!

Hah thanks race bannon! I'm really happy w how he turned out. I didn't document the build nor the paint job but I snapped this pic for my buddies as I was pretty happy w his eyes and the gem on his chest. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y290/abadizzilithium/Mobile%20Uploads/captwip.jpg

Shame its a bit blurry and wonky... But that's all I got WIP-wise. Thanks man!
