Chapter name help needed.

I've posted 2 IA's already and will probably be lifting ideas from each for this new effort.

 

I'm somewhat stumped on a name, though.

 

I'll give a few details and see what sticks to the wall.

 

Desert *Somethings* is what I'm leaning toward. Jackals? But that sounds a little Chaos-y and I want them to be Loyalists.

 

Their homeworld is a desert Death world called Scirocco (translation: desert wind). Ever see any of the Fist of the North Star anime series or movies where everything outside the cities is basically a constant sandstorm? Sorta like that.

 

Leaning toward Raven Guard or White Scars for gene-seed.

 

Mostly Codex-adherent, with a few minor deviations here and there. Basic combat doctrine is fast attack hit and fade, followed by big guns obliterating anything unlucky enough to be in front of them. The hit-and-run units will be serving to lure the enemy to where the artillery is already set up, ranged, and waiting.  

 

I could just call them the Sons of Scirocco and be done with it....but that feels like a bit of a cop out.

 

Color scheme that seems to suggest itself is black and desert tan. But I'm not sure what I want there to be more of yet.

 

Thoughts or ideas? Even if I don't use an idea in its entirety, it might spark something for me and send it in an entirely different direction (My brain tends to snowball ideas like that).

I think there is nothing wrong or chaosy about something Jackals. Desert Jackals though seems a bit too much IMHO. Where do you usually find jackals after all?

Grotsmasha sparked a possibility: Dune Spectres (if I go with Raven Guard gene-seed). Or maybe Sand Spectres.

 

I facepalmed at Dust Devils. In a good way. Couldn't believe I didn't think of it myself. That will probably be what I go with if I do White Scars gene-seed.

My painting skills aren't anywhere near that level of awesome.

I had actually briefly considered Desert Eagles as a name, but I figured someone else would have beat me to that one. Turns out I was right and there is no way I could compete with the guy who did.
