olsol
Just speculating about some lists... Could someone take more than one RoW in a single Age of Darkness detachment (one in the primary detachment and another in an allied detachment). Could this be done???? Slips
Yes, it just depends on the RoW since some are Primary Detachment Only and others restrict allied choices. Caillum
No, it won't. Lots of reasons, but the main one is you can never have more than one Primarch. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/326057-row-question/#findComment-4508777 Share on other sites
Blindhamster
Which doesn't make sense as the fight side by side a lot Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/326057-row-question/#findComment-4509390 Share on other sites
Ishagu
It's a very annoying limitation to be honest. Primarchs regularly fight side by side in the lore. Here's two notable examples: Angron and Lorgar v Guilliman Guilliman and the Lion v Curze If you played under 40k force org you can simply run two CADs and bring both Primarchs as respective Lords of War. You're allowed multiple Primarchs in Apoc - y'know, where it makes sense. Terminus
Seems like those are scenarios you can just discuss and play out. You don't need a sanctioned official ruleset to recreate the Shadow Crusade. You don't need a sanctioned official ruleset to recreate the Shadow Crusade. Also this! If you're trying to power game (and I can certainly see why, Perturabo and Horus would make for BRUTAL deep striking) the eh, don't do it. But for narrative? If you're playing at a points level where two AoD detatchments makes sense (but you aren't playing Apoc because maybe you like a little structure still?) then just sort it out with your opponent :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/326057-row-question/#findComment-4519198 Share on other sites
