henrywalker
At my LGS and was weak enough to buy this lovely chap for my deathwatch.of course then I realised that chaplains in our codex can't get jump packs. So i figure he will have to be allied in from another codex. He could be a blood angels chaplain or dark angels or even vanilla if I wanted. Or an interrogator chaplain even.He doesn't have much chapter markings so any vaguely "wingy" chapter will work fine although I think I'd prefer blood angels but I'm flexible. What do you guys think is the best of the chaplain build I could use? He will be with either a vanguard squad of 4 hammer/shields and 1 heavy hammer. Or in a squad of more infantry killing claws and flamers etc Edited September 22, 2016 by henrywalker Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/326162-jump-pack-chaplain/ Share on other sites
The Unseen
Well, if you don't want to hack his arm off, BA is your only option, since nobody else gets access to Inferno Pistols. henrywalker
That arms separate actually. I probably won't be giving him the inferno either way (although us deathwatch do get it too of course) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/326162-jump-pack-chaplain/#findComment-4511480 Share on other sites
Lysere
You could just use him as a captain with the tome rules wise. Not quite the same but acts similarly and is much better in combat. Vel'Cona
Or just not put on the Jump Pack. Just saying. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/326162-jump-pack-chaplain/#findComment-4511638 Share on other sites
Lysere
Or just not put on the Jump Pack. Just saying. Why take such an awesome looking jump pack off that model? If you don't want a jump pack then any other chaplain would work. henrywalker
And the winner is..... Dark Angels Interrogator Chaplain Gave him the fist, swapped his shoulder pads out, filed off and replaced the blood drops etc and gave him a cooler bare head. TemplarCoyote
Cool model and incorporating it into the Deathwatch! Â I have a stock Ulric the Slayer I'm going to use for a Chaplain as well as the interrogator guy from DV and a generic guy. Â So three of them. Â Oh, and Cassius from the Kill Team. Â I think I have a problem... Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/326162-jump-pack-chaplain/#findComment-4511878 Share on other sites
