No Foes Remain
Quick question, does anyone have a model primer that they use and have never had problems with? I ask as my pots of imperial primer are basically ruined, two are thin and gritty and two are thick and gloopy and I've tried to 'fix' them but nothing seems to have worked. I only ever have this problem with the primers, never with the rest of the GW paint line. So is there any primer that anyone has used and not had similar problems with? Thanks, Ventris. Major_Gilbear
You're in the UK: head to Halfords and get their black, white, or grey automotive sandable spray primer. Link. They are the best I've ever used, and happen to be on offer right now. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/326225-a-good-primer/#findComment-4513463 Share on other sites

In the UK in a town in the middle of no-where, a halfords is at least a 45min drive. But I will give them a look if I am ever near one, thanks. punkfish
I've had the same problems with the Imperial primer - awful paint. The newer GW spray paints are nice if expensive - I'll have to have a look at the Halfords range though.
