RikuEru
Hey brothers!I need help in finding a matte varnish in a spray can, that's easily available in Germany and leaves good results.By most accounts the one GW has in its range is... subpar to say the least.Sadly some of the brands I found in other such topics aren't common in german hardware stores, etc. and so 'importing' is expensive and comes with extra fees. German brothers and sisters!Do you have any advice and experiences? Thanks in advance! AndrewChristlieb
Well I'm not located in Germany, but you might try a fabric store. I was pretty surprised to find several here in the US that carry acrylic matte spray. appiah4
Try looking around for Liquitex Professional Matt Varnish and Winsor Newton Professional Matt Varnish. Both are excellent. That said, I couldn't find either this weekend and ended up buying a can of Winsor Newton General Purpose Matt Varnish. I'll be trying it on my figures soon, I'll let you know about that one as well. I have a feeling it should work quite fine as well. Here's to hoping I don't just ruin them all. ShVagYeR
Tamiya TS-80 Flat Clear is pretty good. It's easily available in most hobby stores in Poland so I imagine in Germany it should be the same.
