Gah! Heresy! Quick, grab your flamer and get in here!

Oh censored.gif censored.gif censored.gif I posted in the wrong subforum.

*you click walk into the thread room and find it empty except for Servant of Dante curled up in a fetal position on the floor, rocking back and forth with his hands over his head and giggling softly at irregular intervals. There is a note on the floor*

*In a nigh-illegible hand is written the following*

I feel the call of the empyrean. The Prince of Darkness bids me come. How can I not obey?

How could I obey? I am a servant of Him on Terra!

But the rules are so cool, and that Exalted Seeker Chariot beckons . . . such a cool model.

Help me, fellow children of the Emperor! Save me from the maw of the warp!

*The writing trails into illegibility and madness*

(If you're confused, I am ever so tempted to start a Slaanesh Daemon army, but the thought of playing such heresy almost gave me an actual headache.)

----------

opponent: what are you bringing?

me: . . . something purple it looks like.

opponent: . . . um . . . Slaanesh?

me: what? No! This is an Imperium-sanctioned codex! *holds up Codex: Chaos Daemons*

opponent: that's definitely a Chaos codex.

me: You dare accuse me of such Heresy, blasphemer!? You shall be brought to your knees before Our Lord on Terra!

Opponent: . . . . . . . . . *rolls for steal the initiative*

later

*my Seekses charge some guardsmen*

me: FOR THE EMPEROR!

*my Herald of Slaanesh passes a Daemon invulnerable save*

me: THE EMPEROR PROTECTS!

seriously though, please help. I'm only half joking.

Uh, where did you want this to be, brother?

Oh, the general Adepta Sororitas subforum. I would really appreciate it if you could move it there (if you can take anything I say seriously after the above post). biggrin.png

Holy clickbait...

I could not help but respond. Especially for such a clever plea for help.

I know the pain of which you speak. I too have wrangled with the foul pull of the xenos and the heretic...

I have Two Xenos Armies, which have languished as my Imperial Forces have grown ever stronger. I have also considered beginning a Slaanesh army, though currently, it would be a 30k army, as there are more options for cult shenanigans.

Cost is what keeps me from doing this.

Uhh, Slaanesh. Right. That's, uh, the one who goes for extreme excess, right?

Obviously your army is going through a rebellious stage, and since they can't find Malal they go to the only one that their parent wouldn't agree with.

Such a pity that the Inquisition doesn't trust them, right?

Oh they would have nothing to do with sisters. No. Please, I can't stand the idea.

Edit the point is I hate armies of fallen sisters.

Sorry buddy but I've got to put a bolt shell in your head.

Do want to do it right here or would you like to step out back old Yeller style?

Eh, I'll do it myself. *blam*

Well, guess I have to make a new account . . .

Edit: I hope this wasn't in too bad taste.

+Thought for the day: a good citizen knows when THEY are the heretic+

Go Slaanesh, go all the Slaanesh you want. Just don't mix them with our Sisters. Seriously, it gets messy. My other armies are tyranids and pure Slaanesh. They don't mix with us, style or story, at all. Story, you couuuuuuld mix them if you go ultra heresy, but that gets... creepy IRL often.

The daemons have let me be. I have respite from the beckoning of the Lord of excess. For now.

I got a game in with my Sisters. My space wolf allies had freaking mutants (wulfen). At one point one of the chaos psykers made a 5 heavy flamer command squad burn several wulfen to death. I was rather pleased.

We lost.
