I was thinking they'd be popular with Imperial Fists to use as terminator storm shields too. Maybe breachers? Might be a bit big and would need some adjustments for the bolters. I'm thinking my leftover bits will be used to add some flavour to scenery pieces or objective markers. I'm playing traitors so I can't really see myself building a whole army of Sisters or Custodes. They'll likely prove pretty valuable for bits-swapping too. At least the Spears kinda make cool sci-fi sense with the guns, but those swords just look... awkward... in the the extreme. I think I would like them more if they had stuck to that - maybe half to two-thirds the size - and if the bolt-weapon part was smaller than a bolt pistol. Terminus Posted October 18, 2016 Share Posted October 18, 2016 A lot of good stuff in this box, I even will appreciate all the different colors of dice. I am now debating whether I need 1 or 2 boxes. I will probably be using the MkIIIs just to make the two requisite tactical squads and maybe a support squad, while using the MkIV bits for Veterans, so I don't know if I need more than the 30 dudes I get. Plus with Rubrics on the radar, I think I will hold off expanding my XVth's ranks too wide. The Custodians are a bit too monopose (captain and banner in particular) for me to get more than one squad, while the Sisters will probably be more niche in rules (although their models seem more easily adaptable for larger units). Plus I mostly run traitors so I wouldn't be even able to field them in 30K anyway! That beefy Tartaros armor though... mmm, may get a second box just to trade the Mk3s and Custodians for more Tartaros and Sisters. There is something fitting about the pose that says "bodyguard" to me.
