Plaguecaster
Well I am slowly getting around to painting my Black shield force which unsuprisingly is black, now I have never acctually painted anything black before so was hoping for some advice as I wont to try and do a good job to showcase the conversions I have done , I am trying to achieve an almost pale/ faded black to go alongside a metalic trim which I may weather. If someone could offer some advice or point me in the direction of a good tutorial I will greatly appreciate it Thanks Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/326965-achieving-a-faded-black/ Share on other sites
Grotsmasha
For a faded black, I'd probably try strippling on a dark grey then hitting it with Nuln Oil. Major_Gilbear
I posted a lot of suggestions for painting black here, including some that are faded or near-black. Maybe they will help? :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/326965-achieving-a-faded-black/#findComment-4535651 Share on other sites
