Grim Dog Studios
Hi all! I am in dire need of a new painting station as mine is a bit too small for my uses and doesn't hold my paint pots correctly. I am currently using a TT Combat paint station with the Vallejo pot cutouts rather than the citadel version. https://www.darksphere.co.uk/p.php?p=64596&c=1791 The problem is that I use both Citadel and Vallejo paints, so my citadel paints are perched a bit unsafely on top rather than in the holes. The paint station itself is a bit too small as well, only really fitting a couple of figures on it at one time comfortably without it being a bit busy. What does everyone else use? I would love to be able to just have a desk that I could paint on, but unfortunately this isn't a possibility, so it has to be a paint station of some kind. What do you all use/recommend I get? Cheers, James Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/327057-painting-stations/ Share on other sites

Ovidius Incertus
Check out these puppes, http://www.miniaturescenery.com.au/CategoryPage.asp?CODE=CAT_ACCP Cheers, Jono Oh goodness, please tell me there's somewhere in the US that makes that same thing. That looks great, but ordering from down under is even more cost prohibitive than ordering from Europe. :( Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/327057-painting-stations/#findComment-4678938 Share on other sites
Stoic Raptor
How about this? http://www.hobbyzone.pl/en/5-tables-for-painting/ I use the large paint station am\nd I'm quite happy with it. I like mine too (I've got the 3-tier "professional" model) - fits nicely on my small IKEA painting desk. I just need to find somewhere to store the 50 other Citadel bottles and the 2 dozen or so PP bottles so that the drawer unit next to the desk will have room for my wet palette and water pot (otherwise I'm reaching across to clean my brushes and nowhere to put the palette) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/327057-painting-stations/#findComment-4679059 Share on other sites

Seems like it is meant for some dixie cup sized cup. I try to not make too much garbage, I get charged per weight in korea. So ive resorted to a reusable mug. Stoic Raptor
Only if your cup is 2 1/4" in diameter or less. The hole on the Australian ones looks larger. Major_Gilbear
Well I suppose you could use a small highball glass, or alternatively just make the hole bigger? :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/327057-painting-stations/#findComment-4680468 Share on other sites
Stoic Raptor
Based on the location of the hole, you could get maybe another quarter inch. Larger than that and you'd cut into the side panel or the paint slots. I had been hoping to find the Citadel Water Pot (not the stupid mugs) somewhere because my workspace needs to be compact. Improving the paint storage would go a long way towards that. when my tax return comes in, I may want to look into that Australian place.
