DarkChaplain
The genres seem to be working based on people adding them to said shelves, and if enough people do, it places them in those categories. Pretty weird though, I'll check if there's anything to be done to get it out of there. Pretty weird though, I'll check if there's anything to be done to get it out of there. Why bother? It's evidently a joke. Not every joke in the world needs to be stamped out just because it isn't a true reflection of reality. To those who have read this. How would rate the Primarch series as a whole so far. Considering how popular I was expecting these books to be l, there's seems to be very little in the way of chatter regarding their content. Tymell
Well, we've only had two so far. Personally, I've liked both, Leman Russ more so. Guilliman was okay, but nothing to write home about, Russ was good and especially so at the end. A 7 and 8 from me, respectively. I like the whole concept because I feel the series as a whole can benefit from more fleshing-out of the Great Crusade. I'd say they're certainly worth reading for HH fans, or fans of those legions/primarchs, but not something I'd pay the LE prices for. I'm really looking forward to the Perturabo one, since Mr. Haley has shown he can turn his hand to a range of legions and do them justice, and Olympia is an event that really needs to be covered properly (and should have been before now, to be honest). Praetor of Calth
Cheers guys, think I'll pick up the Russ book on general release. Here's hoping they maintain this high level of quality throughout the series. For the Russ dream, amazing Lion/Russ duel, great Dulan and awesomly shown Lion in a long while, since 'Savage Weapons'. Augustus
Wraight gave us the Lion we've all been waiting for since Savage Weapons gave us the first taste. HaSY
From how he wrote the DA Chapter Master in Wolf King, I can safely say that my expectation of Lion in Leman Russ is definitely on point. It is funny how most DA actually get Leman Russ to have a glimpse of their liege haha Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/327117-leman-russ-the-great-wolf-by-chris-wraight-le/page/8/#findComment-4572152 Share on other sites
bluntblade
Well, a fair few Death Guard fans seem to buy WS books for a similar reason Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/327117-leman-russ-the-great-wolf-by-chris-wraight-le/page/8/#findComment-4572175 Share on other sites

Pariah32
Just finished this and thought it was great, it's portrayal of Russ in my mind is spot on. Pacing and characterisation is also spot on and the length of the story is just right! Well done Chris Wraight once again. Seriously this guy is becoming the best BL author out there I always look forward to more Chris Wraight releases Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/327117-leman-russ-the-great-wolf-by-chris-wraight-le/page/8/#findComment-4576677 Share on other sites
b1soul
The BL triumvirate is Abnett, Wraight, DB Sad to see Dan go... HeritorA
The BL triumvirate is Abnett, Wraight, DB Sad to see Dan go... Exactly! But he is not gone. He simply writes slowly - cause for each warmaster page he writes 5 comics, lol Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/327117-leman-russ-the-great-wolf-by-chris-wraight-le/page/8/#findComment-4576718 Share on other sites
