Athrawes
Hey guys, pretty straight forward question that came up when my Damocles Command Rhino rammed a Contemptor. What invulnerable save does a Contemptor get from being rammed by a vehicle? 5++ is from shooting and explosions 6++ is from Close combat Ramming doesn't fit either of the above qualifiers. Does that mean it doesn't allow the Automantic shield to generate an invulnerable save of any kind? Lord Asvaldir
Seems like that's the case to me, as ramming isn't a close combat or shooting attack. Strange situation for sure, don't see a command rhino ramming a contemptor often. Son of Carnelian
I think rules as written would definitely disallow the invulnerable save. For purposes of rules as intended (and certainly if I were playing in a friendly game against someone I knew), I would give them the close combat save if they asked for it. Also, on topic: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/327241-ramming-a-contemptor-dreadnought/#findComment-4544495 Share on other sites
Charlo
Seeing as there is two options, I'd happily agree to the lesser - especially from a fluffy and logical point of view!
