Though I'd lose the Demolisher Vindicator and spend the points on other stuff, like: - dozer blades on all the Tanks (except the Vindicators), - more Veterans, - more guns on the Tanks, as they're all Fast. I disagree - 2 Contemptors with Kheres and Tank Hunters are something the opponent has to focus on. They are slower though. I'd invest in armoured ceramite on your HQ. It won't save it from an entire squad firing melta/ combi melta (pod'ed TSS, deep striking terminators, etc) but it would help it to survive against loan multi meltas on rhinos, etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Exark Posted November 2, 2016 Author Share Posted November 2, 2016 @Terminus, the Talon is there to screen the armoured line from anything that can assault. My meta includes KDK and GSC and having nearly lost my entire army to cult ambush shenanigans they seemed an apt choice. Perhaps a terminator unit mounted in a Phobos would serve the role better but I've had success so far with them. On the subject of the scorpius, I tried it out yesterday and did pretty well so it's under I'll keep armoured ceramite in mind on the Master of Armour though I'm likely to switch to a Delegatus at this level since my warlord got alpha Striked last game Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
