Brother Chaplain Ryld
Hi all, I'm thinking of getting the new Prospero box to get some Mk3 armour marines and painting them up as deathguard. Would the Deathguard have used the Tartaros armour or would I be better getting the Cataphractii armoured marines? I'm kind of struggling to see the Tartaros painted in the Deathguard colours, but for all I know it could have been used by the Legion. Supe robot gangster #1
Well. The deathshroud are in Tartaros. And the grave wardens are catas. So either will be sweet! Nightmare84
Either is fine. Personally prefer the durability of cata. But Tartaros certainly has its uses. Mostly out of a assault transport with melee config Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/327308-deathguard-question/#findComment-4546391 Share on other sites
Brother Chaplain Ryld
Cheers. I should have just looked on the FW site. Some good Deathshroud models there. Calas Typhon
They had a modified artificer crafted set of Cataphractii Pattern armour presented to them, I can't really remember where this was referenced, but I believe this was presented to them for service. Whether or not it was a legitimate reference or not, I am not sure. However the models are clearly based of the Tartaros pattern.
