Bloody Legionnaire
Does anyone have any tips for making a stencil for the dark angels emblem with the sword and wings? I'm trying to paint them on to the top of the Rhino but my attempts at Stenciling so far have been a pretty epic fail. Carlson793
Fallout Hobbies can create a custom stencil sheet for you. Alternatively, maybe pick up some frisket from your nearest Hobby Lobby. Print your image on paper, lay it under the frisket (film side up), and carefully trim the image with an X-acto. You can then peel the frisket film off, place it on the model, and you should be good.http://img.hobbylobby.com/sys-master/root/h89/h6e/h00/9022059413534/310508%5B5%5D.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/327475-stencil-for-dark-angels-emblem/#findComment-4551171 Share on other sites
Major_Gilbear
Trim the design out 0.5mm plasticard, stick it onto the Rhino hatch, and then paint as you would any other raised detail? To get the shape right, you could print the Chapter badge out at the correct scale and then use that to "cut through" to get the plasticard the right shape.
