So here I go again. I used to have a thread called the Codex Magnus here on the WIP forum but it became crowded with unfinished projects and I couldn't bring myself to reanimate that disaster. So here is my new thread. Volume II of the Codex Magnus.

 

I'll just be posting various random projects I am working om.

 

Anyways, here is the first step.

So the base ain't done yet, but that's becvause I'm trying to figure out what kind of base I should give him.  I'm thinking either some of the sector imperialis bases to represent an imperial prisoner transport ship or an imperial hive or perhabs an arrid desert world mixing some sand with martian ironearth. Any thoughts? I'll be doing the kill teams in pairs so they fit thematically and I will be going for genestealers or necrons against the DW.

Now... I'm having some problems taking good pictures of black power armour, I had to tweak the image quality a bit so you could actually see anything. Do any of you have any suggestions on how to take better pictures?

 

EDIT: Also I should mention that I haven't done the base yet. I need to purchase martian ironearth so I will do him along with the rest of the marines when I get them.
