Isolia
Here, it was a pain in the buttocks as there was some "unallowed format" (some typos in code banners, some unknown to me) and the editor does not tell you where the mistake is, or how to correct it. That plus the image limit, the post is much less neat than it was before, but I hope it's still readable. As a side note, here are the models I did try converting so far (no pictures, some trials never got finished): - Spellweaver : not bad pose but the detail is way too much for me to convert without much greenstuff skills. She's also way underdressed :) - Isabella von Carstein (the Vampire lord pictured above): she's actually pretty cool, almost looks like the old metal inquisitor ladies. Not too hard since it is not meant to be a sister in power armor but an inquisitor (so not really usable anymore). But getting a pistol in her hand and tidying up the holes in the robes is fine. - Succubus: she is currently undergoing some work to become the pilot of my Knight Penitent (a massive penitent engine :) ), she's pictured in my Wip thread. - Sisters of avelorn: I never got so far as Spacefrisian, I was a noobie back then (still am ^^). Not bad but need some work to look less medieval with the scale armor. - Valkia: Pretty ok since she has kind of a power armor but needs a lot of filing to remove all the khorne marks (flamers won't do here, we need the body ^^) - I played around with daemonettes (the old metal ones that i bought aeons ago when they were in production, maybe the Juan Diaz ones that some around here would kill me for having cut up ? :) ) to make altenatively IG (a bit too thin for lasguns) and sisters (a bit too naked), they'd make OK repentia but I never liked their pose to turn them into our repentent girls. Too open. Could be done though with proper chainswords (I only have a few IG chainswords looted on sergeants). Generally, the robe-wearing AoS / Battle girls are fine for leader types, inquisitor girls and so on, and I prefer th dark eldar ladies for conversion as they fit the grimdark style while being OK to adapt (some armor, not too many unremovable details) I also converted the Tanith lasgun girl (oop) by just adding a piece of Q-tip to the end of the gun and filing away to make her a sniper for my IG, but that's another story. I would definetely love to have the old inquisitor girls back in Made to Order, I'd buy up a set right away, they look so great :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/327615-female-gw-models-list-for-conversion/page/2/#findComment-4561125 Share on other sites
