I just painted up a 1k Son for kicks and find that Tamiya clear red over gold didn't give me quite the rich deep red clear like you have. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I just painted up a 1k Son for kicks and find that Tamiya clear red over gold didn't give me quite the rich deep red clear like you have. i used a silver base coat and the FW Angron red clear on most, it takes about 3 coats to get a cool color on them, Ahriman was done with gold as a base coat, i think the rest of the army are going to get a gold base coat as the red looks alot better on top of the gold :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
