Angel_of_Blood
Have only just read the synopsis for the Garro anthology. Hadn't bothered before, as it was as it says, an anthology. However, there's that last line of the synopsis that I've now only just noted. This all serves as prelude to the events of the novella Vow of Faith, bringing Garro closer to his inescapable destiny as the first true martyr of the Lectitio Divinitatus. From this, can we assume that Garro most certainly will not survive the Heresy and/or become a founder of the Grey Knights? People have doubted this already, due to him having no psychic abilities etc. But yeah. Runefyre
This is sad news indeed, hadn't noticed it. We're all stories in the end, let's hope Garro's ends brilliantly. Sete
I liked his description. It was almost enough to tempt me into GK. But does he turns into a powerful psyker? DarkChaplain
Keep in mind that the first Grey Knights have their original gene-seed removed and replaced with the GK seed. Who knows how strongly that might amplify even just latent psychic capabilities. JH79
Was the GK gene-seed altered in any way that makes it special? I'm not too in the loop re the Grey Knights but I'm sure in Pandorax Abaddon's main goal was the securing of said Gene-seed from Epimetheus because of it's special nature? DarkChaplain
As of The Beast Arises: The Beheading, the GK seed is taken from the Emperor, his final gift before sitting on the throne after battling Horus. They're supposedly greater than the Custodes according to Veritus. karden00
Didn't the first fluff around Garro back in the day have Garro as a guy who would come around once in a while to be a pain in Mortarion's podex? JH79
Awesome, Gene-seed superior to that of the Custodes?! Need so much more info on this! I've not gone any further with TBA since The Last Son of Dorn, which was possibly the best book in the series, but it sounds like i really should make the effort if there's Grey Knights revelations like that to be had by the end. Thanks for the info! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/327945-synopsis-for-hh-42-garro-weapon-of-fate/#findComment-4566536 Share on other sites

Sete
Btw I seriously believe that Janus is Loken. Janus guardian of doorways and passages. Like Cerberus. Also Veritus and Janus were good friends. Yep it adds up. DarkChaplain
Doesn't matter, Grey Knights geneseed could well explain that part. Would be funny though. Loken's got a thing for service studs too, and he was always said to resemble Hastur Sejanus. Se-janus. Got it? Obviously, that's no evidence of any value at all, just a funny observation if true. HeritorA
Sevatar is not Janus! Omegon is not Janus (read PoD) and remember Eskrandor. Garro is Janus! He will officialy sacrifice his identity and become first CM of GK Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/327945-synopsis-for-hh-42-garro-weapon-of-fate/#findComment-4571538 Share on other sites
